A historic street in downtown Columbus is being renamed in honor of Pastor C. Medley Hayes, a lifelong servant, leader, and philanthropist whose impact on the community spans generations. CMH Turkey Giveaway – November 2025
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The CMHayes Foundation hosted a turkey drive to give back to families in Columbus and the surrounding areas. According to organizers, 100 families received a free turkey. The event was held on Nov. 23 at 2024 6th Avenue in Columbus. The giveaway started at 2 p.m. This was the first year for the event, but Chief Financial Officer Stephanie Hayes said that due to their passion for helping others, this certainly won’t be their last year of giving thanks.
